Pie crust dough with sour cream

This recipe is a must in every family repertoire! Easy to prepare, it has a nice flaky texture with lovely taste and suits both savory and sweet pies. 


300g all purpose flour 200g of cold butter in cubes 1tsp of salt 1tbsp of caster sugar 2 big tbsp of sour cream 2 tbsp of ice cold water


With your hands quickly work the butter into the flour that has been mixed with the salt and sugar, until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add the sour cream and water and bring it all together without working the dough too much. Cut it into two and wrap them and keep them in the fridge for an hour before rolling them out for a nice pie.
